Breastfeeding and Weaning

"All a baby really needs is a mothers arms, a mothers breasts and a mothers love."

Articles based on personal experiences of breastfeeding and weaning (introduction of solids).

Please Note: the word "weaning" is used slightly differently in USA and UK. In UK, it usually means the introduction of solid food, whereas in USA it is more commonly used to mean cessation of breastfeeding. I am using the word in the UK sense. I believe a child should stop breastfeeding when he/she is ready (wherever possible).
